NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 1 – Bamburi Cement Plc has appointed Geoffrey Ndugwa as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026.
Ndugwa returns to the company having previously served as Commercial Director and General Manager of Bamburi Special Products, bringing experience in product development, marketing and business operations.
The firm said his appointment is expected to support its focus on operational efficiency and market growth as competition intensifies in the cement sector.
He also has experience in the financial services industry, which is seen as key in strengthening the company’s strategic positioning.
Ndugwa takes over leadership at a time when cement manufacturers are navigating rising input costs and shifting demand in the construction industry.
