that meet the Ministry of Education’s specifications and aligns with the
national curriculum and the practical learning needs of students.
Speaking during the handing over ceremony, the Nandi County Director of Education, Mr. Harrison Muriuki, who was the chief guest , commended EPK for its consistent contribution to education in Nandi County.
“Partnerships between the private sector and education stakeholders are
vital, not only in expanding access to quality STEM learning, but also in
equipping learners with the skills and competencies needed to seize future
opportunities.” He noted.
Through these partnerships, EPK continues to reinforce its commitment to quality and inclusivity in education.
By working
closely with curriculum experts and local education leaders, the company keeps
each project responsive to learners’ needs and continues to expand access to
meaningful STEM education, particularly in rural communities where such
opportunities are often limited.
To date, these efforts have seen a cumulative
investment of over Kshs 33 million and the completion of 21 science
laboratories and 1 IT lab, underscoring the company’s commitment to the social
pillar of sustainability within its catchment communities.
