Harambee Stars has retained their position in the latest FIFA rankings made after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.
The team holding its ground in the rankings, Harambee Stars is expected to be back to tournaments in September when they will play the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Eritrea and Guinea.
It has retained its position at 109 in the global rankings with 1,185.08 points, while Uganda is ranked at position 89 with 1,264.09 and Tanzania is positioned 112 with 1,180.27 points.
In Africa, Morocco leads, while Senegal is second after dropping three places and positioned 18 globally. Egypt takes third place after rising fifth to 24th in the world. Nigeria is 26th in the world and fourth in Africa while Algeria is fifth after dropping to 29th globally.
Globally, Spain has claimed top spot after beating Argentina, who came second, followed by France and England, with Brazil completing fifth.
