KAA appoints Moses Wekesa Managing Director

NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 14 – Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has appointed Moses Wekesa as its new Managing Director. Wekesa previously served as Business Development Director at KenGen.

He holds an engineering degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Nairobi. He replaces acting Managing Director Mohamud Gedi, who had been serving in the role on an interim basis.

The appointment comes as KAA continues with ongoing airport projects, including works at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
