Kingdom Bank Expands MSME Support With New Industrial Area Branch

Kingdom Bank has strengthened its support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises following the launch of a new branch in Nairobi’s Industrial Area.

The branch, located at Lunga Lunga Square, is the bank’s 28th branch nationwide and the second branch opened this year as part of its strategic expansion drive.

The lender said the move is aimed at bringing financial services closer to businesses operating within one of Kenya’s busiest commercial and industrial zones.

Industrial Area hosts thousands of enterprises involved in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and import-export trade, sectors that continue to play a critical role in Kenya’s economy.

The area’s strategic connection to Mombasa Road and Nairobi’s Central Business District has also made it a key hub for domestic and regional trade activities.

Speaking during the launch, Kingdom Bank Managing Director and CEO said the institution remains focused on building strong banking relationships with MSMEs.

“Our ambition is to build banking relationships that understand the rhythm of business, particularly for MSMEs that require responsiveness, flexibility and solutions tailored to how they operate. Kingdom Bank Industrial Area Branch offers exactly this, and we are here to serve our customers in a way that is both practical and personal,” the CEO said.

The branch will provide working capital support, trade financing, cross-border transaction facilitation and asset financing solutions.

Kingdom Bank added that the facility will also offer retail banking services to workers within the Industrial Area through both physical and digital banking platforms.
