
NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 4 – The Kenya Ports Authority has confirmed that its Chief Executive Officer, Capt. William K. Ruto, was injured in a road accident that claimed the life of his daughter.
In a statement, the authority said the accident occurred on Friday evening while the CEO was travelling with his family.
“Regrettably, his daughter did not survive the accident,” KPA said, extending condolences to the family.
The authority added that Capt. Ruto and other family members are in stable condition and are receiving medical care, expressing hope for their recovery.
The authority said it will provide updates as more information becomes available.
