PUBG MOBILE Version 4.4 Introduces Mythology-Driven Battlegrounds and Lots More for Kenyan Players

PUBG MOBILE, the world’s most celebrated mobile battle royale phenomenon, is dialing up the action with its explosive Version 4.4 Update, introducing a thrilling new wave of mythological combat, powerful abilities, and elevated squad gameplay for players across Kenya.

Running until July 7, 2026, the update introduces Hero’s Crown, a new themed mode rooted in ancient Greek mythology. In this experience, classic battlegrounds across Erangel, Livik, and Rondo are dramatically reimagined, with key locations such as Yasnaya Polyana, Ruins, Ferry Pier, and Mylta redesigned into immersive myth-inspired combat zones that encourage fresh tactical approaches.

Positioned at the heart of the mode is the Crown’s Abode, a floating endgame arena where squads compete for dominance while confronting Helios, a formidable centaur boss with unique abilities.

Match progression is shaped by a series of themed trials that test a wide range of skills, including speed, survival, coordination, and aerial navigation, alongside optional Gryphon mini-games that reward exploration and performance.

Introducing new layers of tactical depth, the update equips players with powerful gameplay tools such as the Heart of Fury dash ability for rapid combat movement, the Battle Flag for strengthening nearby teammates, and Wax Wings for aerial traversal across the battlefield.

The Laurel – M1 Garand also makes its debut, offering a weapon system that evolves visually as players progress through matches. In a unique gameplay twist, defeating Helios unlocks the opportunity to recruit him as a temporary ally with both offensive and support capabilities.

Expanding Classic Mode further, players can now experience the Roadster convertible vehicle featuring turbo boost functionality, alongside wider availability of the Panzerfaust and expanded JS9 weapon distribution. Several weapon balance adjustments across categories refine overall combat consistency, while Livik introduces a new Spawn Island designed to enhance pre-match interaction and squad coordination.

Strengthening cooperative gameplay, the newly introduced Flash Crew system enables players to connect with compatible teammates, build Rapport, and unlock shared rewards through improved team synergy.

World of Wonder also receives a significant upgrade, featuring a standalone lobby, mid-match joining capability, and enhanced creator tools that simplify map building and discovery.

Extending seasonal content, Metro Royale Chapter 32 introduces a Helios-themed PvE encounter, while Season 30 brings Ranked Arena improvements, Weekend Joy events, and the return of the Dinoground mode.

Home Mode also expands with additions such as the Starfall Sanctuary Home Style, Crew Celebration gameplay, Parking Lot updates, and enhanced competitive features.
