Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled its most advanced flagship television to date, the 2025 NEO QLED 100-inch AI TV (S-QA100QN80FUXKE), setting a new benchmark in large-screen home entertainment.
The launch event, held at the Glee Hotel in Nairobi, introduced Samsung’s latest innovation under the theme “Vision AI is here – The Next Big Thing in Television.” The new TV is designed to deliver an immersive viewing experience by combining cutting-edge display and audio technologies with Samsung’s proprietary Vision AI platform.
Speaking at the launch, Rahul Kochhar, Business Head, Consumer Electronics Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa, said the new model represents a fundamental shift in how television integrates into everyday life.
“With Vision AI, we are not just enhancing picture quality or sound immersion; we are redefining how television interacts with the home — how it learns, adapts, and becomes part of daily living. This 100-inch AI TV is the strongest expression of that vision,” Kochhar said.
The 100-inch NEO QLED AI TV features an expansive NEO QLED display engineered for cinematic viewing in both residential and premium commercial spaces. It is powered by Samsung’s NQ AI Processor, which intelligently optimises picture and sound based on content type and room conditions.
Other key features include Quantum Matrix Mini LED Technology for precise backlight control, 4K UHD resolution with AI upscaling, HDR10+ and Auto HDR Remastering for enhanced colour accuracy, and Anti-Glare with Ultra Viewing Angle technology for consistent clarity in bright environments.
Audio performance is supported by Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound (OTS), delivering immersive, three-dimensional sound that follows on-screen action. The TV also integrates Samsung Smart Hub with Vision AI, offering seamless access to streaming services, cloud gaming, live television, and smart home controls.
For gaming enthusiasts, the TV supports 4K 120Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro, and Samsung’s Gaming Hub, while the Tizen operating system comes with a seven-year upgrade programme, ensuring long-term software and security support.
Designed with a near bezel-less frame, ultra-slim profile, and clean cable management, the TV reflects Samsung’s premium design philosophy.
Samsung says the product is tailored for the Kenyan market, targeting high-end households, luxury apartments, and premium commercial venues. The launch comes amid growing demand for intelligent, large-screen televisions driven by increased broadband access, rising incomes, and the expansion of streaming services across Kenya.
The TV comes with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty when purchased through authorised dealers, alongside professional installation by certified technicians, priority servicing in major cities, and access to Samsung’s nationwide service network. Customers can also receive support via Samsung’s 24/7 call centre, the Samsung Members app, and authorised service partners.
Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics Business in Kenya, said the product reflects Samsung’s commitment to delivering innovation with local relevance.
“We have designed this television for discerning Kenyan consumers who seek premium craftsmanship, intelligent features, reliable local support, and long-term value. We are excited to introduce the next big thing in television to the Kenyan market,” Odhiambo said.
The Samsung NEO QLED 100-inch AI TV will be available through authorised Samsung dealers, flagship stores, and selected retail partners, with a recommended retail price of KSh 699,000.
