Skyward Airlines Launches Nairobi–Vipingo Route to Boost Kilifi Tourism

Skyward Airlines and Vipingo Ridge have celebrated the successful launch of a new route connecting Nairobi to Vipingo, with the inaugural flight marking a major milestone for regional connectivity and tourism growth in Kilifi County.

The new route opens a faster, more convenient gateway to the Coast for tourists, homeowners, investors, golfers and business travellers. It is expected to boost domestic tourism, stimulate local enterprise and strengthen Kilifi County’s reputation as a premier lifestyle and investment destination.

Speaking at the inaugural flight ceremony, leaders from both Skyward Airlines and Vipingo Ridge highlighted that the connection not only improves travel logistics but also creates significant economic opportunities for the region.
