
Two more suspects wanted in connection with the murder of Nathan Masai Wasama in Cheptais, Bungoma County, have surrendered to police as detectives intensify investigations into the killing.
Robert Kimutai Psisei, alias Robert Miti, surrendered at Cheptais Police Station on Wednesday morning. He was subsequently arrested, escorted and booked at Sirisia Police Station, where he is expected to assist detectives with ongoing investigations.
Another suspect, Brian Chongin Kaos, surrendered at Chwele Police Station and was taken into custody.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said the two suspects are now among those in custody as detectives work to establish the circumstances surrounding Wasama’s murder and identify all those involved.
The agency said investigations are being expedited, with all suspects expected to be presented in court to face the law once the investigations are complete.
The DCI has also appealed to members of the public with credible information that could help detectives apprehend other suspects still at large to come forward.
